(Photos by Greg Rourke and Bob Chiluk) – We’ve been hearing about the annual Race and Performance Expo, held in St. Charles, Illinois every year for a while now. This year, our own intrepid photographers Greg Rourke and Bob Chiluk attended the show with their camera gear and delivered an awesome gallery of nearly 200 photos. This event is awesome and looks every bit as heavy duty as the PRI show held in Florida each December. With tons of race cars, parts, components, and general gearhead awesomeness, this is an event worth hitting if you are in the Illinois area and need to get a winter fix. Lots of business gets conducted at the show with all of the major vendors present, too.
We really like hitting shows that cross all the different genres of racing. You’ll see dirt and asphalt circle track stuff along with lots of great drag racing cars and parts. We had an confirmed report from a concerned on-looker that Rourke got into a dirt car simulator and hit everything but the Illinois state lottery. We kid because we love.

I may have done badly on the simulator, but at least I didn’t hit the track dryer.
