With the midwest mid-winter deep freeze keeping all the car guys inside, the Chicago Race & Performance Expo comes to town just in time to save the day. This show brings out some of the biggest car builders, high performance parts companies, and vendors in the country. I really is a smaller version of PRI and SEMA. Greg Rourke and Bob Chiluk are Bangshift’s own Chi Town Hustlers and they covered the Race and Performance Expo for us again this year.
Actually a combination of four shows under one roof that includes Circle Track Expo, Off Road Expo, and this year a Car Builders Showcase. Each year has brought more vendors, buildings and square footage used by the show. This year organizers added an extra day as this is a rapidly growing event.
An unofficial kick off to the Midwest automotive season, any excuse to get out is welcomed by all. Local, regional and national vendors filled every spot of the three buildings showcasing whats new, whats hot and what we want. The new builders showcase hall featured Midwest shops and examples of what they crank out. We save you the leg work and the gas money by taking you right to the show!
