It takes a lot to get us moving on a weekend morning before the sun begins to rise, but the legendary Long Beach Swap Meet is totally worth the effort. While BangShifters in most other parts of the country wake up to snowbanks and ice, we’re lucky enough to throw on a sweatshirt and hit the road to oogle at cool hot rods, muscle cars, and classics for sale at Long Beach. Don’t hate us because we’re warm.
It seems like the economy is starting to drive some reality back into the pricing of the cars we’d want to buy. Don’t get us wrong, they’re still up there and no one is giving anything away, but we seem to be moving from stupidity to mildly overpriced. Some decade soon we may actually see affordable again. Here’s hoping.
