I’m back with more coverage from the 2014 Goodguys Autumn Get Together which was held last weekend at the Almeda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California. This was one of the neatest car shows I have ever been to and there were an abundance of hemi engines, unique hot rods, great muscle cars (both late model and classic) and some stuff that you are REALLY going to hate, including one or two in this collection of photos. Seriously. There is one in there that will blow you mind with the sheer number of things going on with it that are NOT GOOD. You’ve got to find it but it will be like locating your kitchen table in broad daylight. No challenge at all.
The wagon below was a personal favorite, especially after approaching it to find the big hemi living in the nose. It is way over the top but that is why we love it. That and the fact that the factory chrome roof rack is present and accounted for on the roof was another bonus touch. When this thing lit up, the entire show ground turned and looked. It sounded wicked as hell! A great engine in a unique and cool body painted an eye-grabbing color? That’s the math that really works for us!
The hemi in the lead photo is installed in one of the most beautiful hot rods I have ever seen in person. No exaggeration. You’ll see photos of it when you hit the link. The car is absolutely stunning and did not have a hair out of place at all. Amazing skills in the finishing and paint department on that car. We can only dream! There’s plenty of nice stuff in here. Check it out!
Great gallery – save for a few things I’ll need to rinse my eyes out with Clorox after viewing.
