SEMA 2012 Gallery: Cool Trucks, Parts, Cars, and Some Genuine Weirdo Stuff From Friday At SEMA 2012

SEMA 2012 Gallery: Cool Trucks, Parts, Cars, and Some Genuine Weirdo Stuff From Friday At SEMA 2012

Chad and I literally walked the SEMA show floor until I had to peel off and catch a plane back home to the East Coast. Friday is always an interesting day at the show as people are generally gassed out by then and doing some clock watching until they can begin the arduous process of packing their booths up and making their own way our of Las Vegas. For me, Friday is cool because it is traditionally when I hit the truck hall and see all the big lifted up stuff, cool winches and components, and get a sense about what’s cool in the world of four wheel drive trucks. That hall was different this year as several companies had hot cars like COPO Camaros as promotional draws in their booths! That being said, there were plenty of  cool, sky scraping trucks oogle and drool over. Make sure you check out the insane Israeli built armored SUVs we found. Chad was WAY into those bad boys!

This gallery also has some cool stuff from Ford’s always packed display and some of the cars we haven’t showed you that were outside of the convention center as well. That altered wheelbase Falcon is a little taste. We schemed for an hour about how to pose as convention employees and steal the thing, but alas, our plan was for naught. The fake mustaches were a give away.

That AWB Falcon is absolutely killer, but WHY OH WHY do people f%&k up the whole vibe of the car by fitting a racepak dash…. WTF!! oh, and they can toss the billet puleys too! Please guys, if ya gunna do a period looking car do it properly, I mean hidden EFI can work modern disc brakes etc, but man what were they smokin putting that dash in it! BTW, thanks for posting all these great pics Brian!
