Ford Bumps Production Again; Is the Worst Over?

Ford seems to be making a habit recently of announcing production increases. This time it plans on adding another 25,000 units to the slate in the third quarter of 2009.

With Ford seeing very strong sales of Mustangs and stronger than expected sales of trucks, the company is reacting to the market conditions and will pump out more vehicles to meet the demand. Obviously 25,000 units is an insignificant number in the scheme of things, but so long as they are not chopping 25,000 units, we think it is good news.

With New GM ready to come out of the hole rearing, we’re hoping that the worst of this nightmare is finally over.

Here’s a link to a story that sheds more light on this seemingly positive development for Ford.
