Dudes!  We found some old pictures of Rusty, our 1956 Chevy Bel Air Wagon, as it was going together back in 2000. Chad’s Dad, Walt Reynolds, found them this week and sent them over. He’s looking for more, so we’ll keep you posted.

For those of you who are not familiar with the car, it is a 1956 Chevy Wagon that is channeled over a 1994 Caprice 9C1 cop car chassis. We bought the 9C1 car for the brakes, engine, trans, etc., but ended up realizing it just might fit under our rusty-floored ’56. And so the transformation began. After working on the car for a couple weeks, and getting the body “sitting” on the chassis, we called it quits and the car sat for 5 years before getting slammed together for the 2005 Power Tour.
