The Wall Street Journal is reporting that, during GM’s bankruptcy hearing on Tuesday, the automaker filed papers to sever ties with four NHRA teams: three Pro Stock operations and one Funny Car team.
The teams are among a group of 30 contracts that GM is looking to call null and void during the changeover to “New GM.” The teams in question are those of Greg Anderson and Jason Line, The Victor Cagnazzi operation, Kurt Racing (which we assume is Kurt Johnson) and the Funny Car operaion of The Pedregon Brothers.
