After a successful 2011 run, the four race LSx Challenge series will be back in 2012 per an announcement from GM Performance Parts. The series will comprised of five classes, four of which are heads up with one index class thrown in for good measure. The series will stay to the east of the Mississippi river, visiting Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, and Georgia throughout the season.
If you plan on showing up to run the LSx All Motor or Real Street class, you better bring the kitchen sink with you. Both class champions were running deep in to the eight second range, Judson Massingill (a name most BS’ers should recognize from the School of Automotive Machinists) on the All Motor class last season and Adam Preston was the champ in Real Street.
The LSx Challenger races are held in conjunction with other events like the NMCA race at Indy, the Chevy High Performance Nationals in Georgia, the LSx Fest in Bowling Green, and the NMCA season opener in Florida.

When Fords run in Ford-only events, the Chevy fanboys claim that they’re wimping out . . . avoiding real competition.
Of course with Government Motors takes time out from recalling Chevrolet Volts to run a LESS-only series (or Holley sponsors another “LS Fest”), these same Chevy fanboys celebrate it like it’s the Second Coming . . . .
before you go spouting off about recalls, please educate yourself on the ford and regan recall.
not our fault our manufacturer loves us more than yours loves you and puts on events for us to race at… 😛
