If you are regular readers of the CarDomain blog like we are, you are undoubtedly familiar with the exploits of David Belau, the guy who has been doing some really neat stuff to his Dodge Dart. He’s the guy who added the trick IRS and has been improving the car steadily over time.

In the latest installment to his blog series, he’s upgrading the motor in the car, a 225ci Slant Six, with a new intake manifold and two-barrel carb. By “new” we mean “new to him,” as they are used factory parts.

This story is totally us, and frankly is a great departure from the typical seamless parts install stories that make us feel like dopes when we get spun out on straightforward stuff.

It happens to all of us, and the ability to laugh at it as shared experiences with other gearheads is what separates us from the stuck up jerks in other corners of the web.
