While doing research for an upcoming story about the saga that was drag racing’s “Steroids Era”, a.k.a the Eval Knoll scandal, I happened to find this mug shot of a man named Latrell Preston who has an uncanny resemblance to the former C.F.O of Torco Race Fuels/Knoll Gas Motorsports. This Latrell Preston has an outstanding warrant for resisting arrest in Allen County, Indiana.
One of the most curious parts of the whole Knoll situation is that the name of the former CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER of his company has not been brought into mention at any point in the court process. One would logically think that the guy in charge of the money coming in and out of the company would have some sort of idea that the whole thing was based on an insanely huge government scandal. Then again, maybe he just played computer games and wrote checks in his office all day. Not much has been laid out regarding how this whole thing happened to date.
So our eyes ain’t all that good. Look at the first photo and then scroll down through the others and tell us if the man you see in the mug shot looks to be the same guy that held the title of CFO at Torco Race Fuels/Knoll Gas Motorsports. We think it does. The hair may have changed, but the face looks the same (to us).
Looking at the mug shot, “Chief Financial Officer” was not the first thing that entered my mind. Looking at the last photo, it sure looks like him.
That’s the same guy. The Feds probably offered him immunity from prosecution in exchange for all the evidence he had on Knoll. Who knows, he might have even turned him in.
Yep, Houston, we got a match.
I took both images and ran them through a facial recognition engine…well, Mr. Preston looks less intimidating with glasses 🙂
He cooperated with the feds. Supposedly was just a tool of Evan. You can take the Afro out of the Ghetto, you can’t take the ghetto out of the Afro. Resisting arrest is one of the national sports of Black America. I have seen many Bros and Sistahs get arrested. Not one went quietly.
