That’s right folks it’s MINIBIKE TIME!!!! On Saturday August 4th, minibike fans will be swarming to La Crescenta here in Southern California for the First Annual Joe’s Minibike Reunion and you are invited! There will be bikes, parts, scooters, Honda CTs, cool displays, and “allegedly” a cruise for street legal Honda CTs that will be the largest ever. Oh and did I mention that there are prizes? Including a giveaway of a minibike that will be built from a kit to rolling chassis on site at the show. Chip Foose will have his minibike and gocart on display, and Ms. Minibike will be on hand as well. Plus, we’ll be there! We’re going to be having fun, while wishing we could get our minibike back from Freiburger, and shooting photos for a cool gallery.

The Joe, in Joe’s Minibike Reunion, is Joe Sebergandio, owner of Motor Media, who is one of the most well known car industry folks that you’ve never heard of. Anyone in the aftermarket industry knows Joe, and 90% of them have no clue that Joe is a huge minibike nut. We do, and you might as well if you saw the feature on his collection of Minibikes in Hot Rod Magazine. Joe has been a big BangShift supporter, and we wouldn’t miss a chance to check out this many minibikes in one place anyway.

If you are in the Western States and want to have some fun, La Crescenta is beautiful and we’ll be their cruising so come on down and join us!

Crap, grew up about 4 blocks from the park. Sold my last mini 5 years ago at the salt. Gonna miss this – loading trailers for Bonneville.

I have one of those chopper frames in the front, still have the seat. The front forks didn’t make it. I think it’s a Bonanza. I wish I had kept my other Bonanza death machine!

It’s almost time to do a restore on the YSR 50 Yamahammer !

fond memories–my 1st motorized transport was a minibike—2 and 1/2 horses of screamin techumseh power—briggs/stratton was for lawn mowers, not bonafide rockets like mine!–painted that bad boy copper, with black pinstripes, and my first upholstery job,the seat redone in my favorite brown suede jacket! bitchin does not even come close to describing the awesomeness……40 plus years down the road and my taste has matured somewhat–suzuki rv125(think trail 70 on steroids),bright yellow, and wheelie-tastic!
