When we met up with the guys at JET during the MPMC conference, Dan Nicholas of the company took some time to educate us about the Dynamic Spectrum Tuner Programmer. This is not a dumbed down “multiple choice” type tuning tool. Instead it is a powerful tuning package that allows control of all the parameters any serious hot rodder would want. It works with many 1996 and newer GM gas and diesel vehicles.
This piece of equipment is neat for a couple of specific reasons. One of the main things that caught our attention is the fact that up to four vehicles can be tuned with this one unit. That means that you and three pals can go in on it and split the cost, or it means that your wife or girlfriend’s car is going to be running a heck of a lot harder shortly.
The tuner offloads and saves the original factory tune for your car and the stock programming can be reloaded at any time to put everying back to stock condition.
