(Photos by Charles Wickam) – If it is the summer time in Kemah, Texas you can count on two things. Car shows at the Home Depot and Charles Wickam blasting photos at said car shows. These events have been going on for years and they continue to be popular with local hot rodders, import fans, and even guys cruising in some European exotica as evidenced by the Porsche that serves as the centerpiece of our lead photo. As we have preached over the years, events like these are super popular for the car hobby and world and they serve as proof that we can, in fact, all get along and have fun despite differences in the taste of stuff that we enjoy driving.

The more we all stick together and take care of each other the better off we’ll all be with our cars in the long run. No shame in having favorites or having fun breaking the chops of other people who have different opinions and preferences than you do but being able to get together and hang out is paramount. Strength in numbers, baby!
