Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum Photo Coverage: Heaven on Earth Exists In Virginia

(Photos by the author) – Sometimes being a nomad has its advantages. While in Virginia for the NHRA Virginia Nationals I was able to check a box on my bucket list and visit the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum in Colonial Heights, Virginia. This is a collection of more than 200 tractors and nearly 100 restored vintage big rigs. It is quite simply one of the most breathtaking collections of vintage machinery in the world and it is all housed in a really nice, spacious building that’s climate controlled.

If you love trucks and tractors there’s no more amazing place to visit. The collection of tractors includes machines that range from the 1916 Titan you see above to virtually every make and model that turned a tire on American soil. Internationals, Minneapolis-Moline, Oliver, Ford, John Deere, Allis-Chalmers, and the list goes on and on and on. There’s even a UDLX to check out!

I shot about 350 photos are this place and will dole them out over the next few days. It was the most impressive place I have ever been and there’s full access to everything. The tractors are great but the trucks which you will see lots more of in the coming days will really knock you on your tea kettle.

Here’s the first look at our tour of the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum. Over 100,000 square feet of amazing American mechanical history!
