How cool is this? This 1/2 scale Plymouth Superbird is something Brian, Chad and I Lohnes’ kids would love. The body is a fiberglass piece and it’s powered by a 8hp Briggs and Stratton engine. And yes, a full-size adult can fit. Ok, a normally full-size adult will fit…let’s not get too carried away here. Everything is perfect, from the nose to the wing, and even the scoops above the front tires on the fenders and the vinyl top. The doors open, the car drives, and it’s a set of golf-cart five-spokes away from looking perfect. Seriously, where was this guy when I was a kid? This thing is freakin’ awesome!

Normal sized people? I’d like to see the BS “head office” squeeze into that!
Chad would fit. Brian would fit, but might need a sunroof. I might fit (and that’s a big might), but the question isn’t headroom, it’s whether my big-ass feet would tuck under the hood.
I’m lean enough but I don’t bend as well anymore. 🙁
Sweet ride
I think Mopar Collectors Guide actually did a feature on this Superbird.
Did somebody slip something in my drink or is there some weird distortion going on in the vid? That and the minuscule scale are enough to induce flashbacks!
I think it’s an anti-“shakycam” trick. Not a fan.
Zingers is all I can think of!
Wish he had some Magnum 500 wheel replicated!
What a cool ride!
