Kurt Busch’s tough talking stupidity at Dover last weekend has earned him a week off and could potentially end his already shaky driving position with car owner James Finch. As you’ll remember, we showed you video of Busch flapping his gums at Sporting News reporter Bob Pockrass after Pockrass had the unmitigated gaul to ask Busch if his driving habits were altered by the probation that NASCAR had placed him on. Now famously, Busch told Pockrass that the probation was preventing the driver from, “beating the shit” out of the reporter. Here’s the video.
NASCAR, apparently fed up with the jackassery of the Kurt Busch has suspended him for one week and he will not be allowed to compete in the Sprint Cup race at the famed Pocono track this coming weekend. Car owner James Finch is furious and claims that he and Busch are going to have a serious conversation regarding his future with the team. Quoted by ESPN, the colorful Finch told reporter David Newton, “If he’s going to kill himself, I’m not going to be in the airplane with him,” Finch said by phone. “If that’s what he’s planning on doing, I am going to get out.”
Bush’s tirades against the news media have been escalating since last season, culminating in the famous explosion on Dr Jerry Punch at the final race of the season in Florida that went viral on the internet. He lost his ride at Penske partially because of his toxic attitude and this season racing for Finch was supposed to be about him reestablishing himself and “having fun” racing. That’s obviously going very well.
If there is an anti-douche vaccine, someone needs to get a double dose to Kurt.

Kurt Busch Still Struggling With Anger
Kurt, Kyle – get it right…. above
The Busch brothers both have attitudes that a parent should be ashamed of.
Talented drivers, yes.
But they both lack poise, humility, and manners.
And Kurt deserves what he is handed, and he knows it.
He is lucky to have found a ride at all this year.
I would like him a lot more if he would just shut up and drive.
Looks like Charlie Sheen.
To a certain extent I’m proud he speaks his mind, even if he doesn’t always have good things to say. It gets old watching weenie drivers kiss everyone’s butts all the time.
To bad NHRA doesn’t have people like Bush…
More fines for drivers speaking their mind. The reporter was being antagonistic, just like every reporter interviewing the poor bastard has been for the last 2 years. Anything for a sound bite.
Thanks for some other excellent article. The place else may anyone get that type of info in such an ideal way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I’m at the look for such info.
Dunno, that boy just doesn’t look right

NHRA–run by a professional sanctioning body, rules are only changed when there is serious need-like safety- then by panel of team owners, drivers, sponsors. NA$CAR-ran by-NA$CAR/France family-same-same. Rules are changed when NA$CAR thinks they need to-some are totally stupid i.e. restrictor plates– totally stupid, new wing with different placement–at least NA$CAR could see how stupid this was and went back to old placement–could go on,and on–but I would sound like you know who!
Unquestionably consider that which you said. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the net the easiest factor to keep in mind of. I say to you, I certainly get irked whilst folks think about issues that they just do not realize about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest as neatly as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be again to get more. Thanks
