We have to thank (or curse!) our pal Dave Wallace (www.hotrodnostalgia.com) for pointing us towards this pair of 392 Hemi engines that are being sold by a dude in San Francisco, California. They’ve been in dry storage forever and according to the seller turn free.

One has to wonder what their fate will be. Maybe bolted into a stocker restoration job, to once again enter dry storage in the form of some rich guy’s collection or to be put between the spindly rails of a front engined dragster, with a blower strapped to it’s noggin and nitro cursing through it’s veins.

Lots of these motors were KIA when the tuners missed the setup and internal combustion suddenly becomes external combustion. We think it’s better to go out in a blaze of nitro glory than to sit dormant for so long the rings rust to the bores though.

Either way, if you’ve got the cash for the pair call this dude quick.
