Yep, admit it. The first thing you thought was WTF?! The second thing you thought was, “How do I get one of my own?” I’d recommend asking this guy, who happened to be running the kart at Atco Raceway in New Jersey on a day I was there covering a race.

It appears to be a normal, old-school kart, but with a snowmobile engine bolted to the back and a couple of Jr. Dragster slicks on the rear axle. You’ve got to love the safety gear as well. The leather work gloves, SFI rated work boots, leather jacket and skid lid.

My memory seems to recollect that it did not do much of anything impressive and actually broke the driveline on its first or second attempt down the track, that being said, when it’s working right, this mother could give the infamous Gixxer kart a run for its money in a straight line.
