We’ve just received word that Lynn Wineland has entered the hospital in grave condition with myoplastic anemia, a bone disease. Lynn is one of the Petersen Publishing greats, having stared as a hot rodding graphics editor at Rod & Custom magazine and eventually working his way through the ranks of the book division and motorcycle groups. He’s credited with coining the term minibike and was instrumental, along with Tom Medley and Spence Murray, in popularizing go-karts. We wish the best for him and his family.
