This week’s Time Killer is an unassuming website called Motorera.com that appears to be homebuilt. It’s low on flash and dash but high on information. On it you will find complete histories on brands like LaSalle, Cadillac, GM, and specific models like the Pontiac Firebird.

Personally, the LaSalle stuff drug us in because it’s a totally forgotten marque in the history of American automotive manufacturing. It met a fate similar to Pontiac’s in the early 1940s, but during its heyday, LaSalle was a strong brand. By the end it was a cash drain on GM.

We’ll let you check it out and decide for yourself, but frankly, anything that diverts our attention from that stack of junk in out “In” box is good for us.
