If you own a pre-1973 GM truck and you’re not a frequent visitor of Stovebolt.com, we recommend you become one. The site is dedicated to trucks built by the General from the inception right up until 1972. We’ve been spending time there as we recently bought a 1966 C50 and want to be armed with lots of info when we tow it home this coming weekend.
The gallery section is massive. It’s divided into several different year brackets and within those brackets you’ll find both light-duty and medium/heavy-duty sections. The trucks range from show quality to barn find, and everything in between.
You can cook a day easy just looking at photos, reading the back stories, and admiring the workhorses that GM built in the days of yore. We know because we’ve done it ourselves!
