While Chad is out at the March Meet working his beard off, we’re feeding the unrelenting appetite of the blog. We’re throwing a counter punch to Chad’s weekend full of retro-drag goodness in Bakersfield. This is the website of photographer Charles Gilchrist who was on the scene to photograph loads of drag racing and circle track action in the Ohio area through the late ‘60s and mid ’70s.
The photos really speak for themselves, but we’ve killed mucho time checking out not just the cars but the copious great shots of the people who made the sport so great during the golden age.
