MSD Power Grid Approved for NHRA Competition, Set to Begin Shipping in Early March

MSD Ignition’s revolutionary “Power Grid” system has been approved for use in all sportsman classes in the NHRA. The Power Grid is an ground breaking pieces of equipment that allows the user to essentially tie together all aspect of their ignition system and manage them through the use of a computer. The system uses windows based software developed by MSD called MSD View. This software is making its debut along with the Power Grid itself.

The orders for “the Grid” have been coming in hot and heavy to MSD’s El Paso head quarters and they are going to begin shipping them on March 11th. So if you have placed an advanced order, your stuff will be leaving first. The rest of your poor schlubs better get your butts in gear and place an order. The way the pre-orders went, MSD is really rocking to keep up with demand.

We know of at least five racers locally who have placed orders and are anticipating this piece like we’ve not seen them anticipate something before. The ability to simply and easily control everything from shift light functions to four steps of RPM control, to the ability to look at individual cylinder timing, has racers freaking out with joy. These will be “must have” equipment in racers from all genres and classes once the word really gets out and these units hit the streets.
