Smokey Yunick is certainly a hall of fame BangShifter. He had his hands in innumerable projects over the years and developed everything from carbs to spark plugs. Yunick was also involved in the early years of the Corvette, when GM was looking to make the car a road racing contender. Known for this wit and brutal honesty, he pulled no punches on his first impression of the Corvette. 

The video uses a voice over guy and excerpts from his autobiography to tell the tale of Smokey’s involvement of the Corvette and his opinion of the poeple around him. The closing quote made us laugh, it’s pretty brilliant.
