Neat Gearhead Open House and Chassis Training Seminar

Neat Gearhead Open House and Chassis Training Seminar

If we lived closer to Missouri, we’d totally be at Andy McCoy race Cars on February 21st to check out the shop and learn the ins and outs of chassis certifications. It would sure beat the hell out of the snow shoveling that we’ll probably be doing.

McCoy builds some of the nastiest doorslammers on planet Earth and he recently had to move into a bigger shop. That’s a good problem to have. He’s hosting the event to show off the new digs and help let guys who aren’t sure about what it takes to have a certifiable chassis learn more.

Be there or be somewhere else.

WASHINGTON, Mo. (Dec. 22, 2008) – Andy McCoy Race Cars (AMRC), located in Washington, Mo., will host a NHRA Division 5 Chassis Certification Seminar featuring Division 5 chassis inspector Mike Vehige at its new shop February 21. The one-day seminar is open to the public and is scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The day will also double as a customer appreciation day and shop grand opening. Andy McCoy Race Cars relocated from nearby High Ridge, Mo. and recently moved into the 12,000-square-foot facility. The company specializes in the fabrication of high-performance Pro Modified and Top Sportsman drag racing components from chassis to competition-ready vehicles.

“We’re very proud of our new facility and look forward to showing it off,” Andy McCoy said. “We have been working closely with Division 5 technical director Bob Blackwell to make sure this event is very informative and worthwhile for all attendees. We think it will be great for all drag racers in the area.”

Racers will have the opportunity to ask questions and have their chassis inspected and certified. Food and drinks will be provided and no alcohol will be permitted.

Washington is 50 miles west of downtown St. Louis and Andy McCoy Race Cars is located in the Heidman Industrial Park at 601 Vossbrink Drive. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance on the Andy McCoy Race Cars website. For more information you can call Andy McCoy Race Cars at 636.239.5033.
