New BangShift.com Project: The 1992 Donkayota Wagonmaster

BangShift.com is proud to announce a new in-house project that we’re calling the Donkayota Wagonmaster. It is the brain child of both Brian Lohnes and Chad Reynolds, the two guys behind the wheel of the BangShift.com bus. We’re excited to be starting on one of the most unique project vehicles the internets have ever seen.

“This whole thing came about when Chad and I were bouncing ideas off one another for a new project,” Brian Lohnes said. “Naturally he wanted to build a 1970s look T-Bucket complete with brass lamps and stuff. I was dying to do a straight resto job on a 1965 Ford Thunderbird. After hours of arguing and at least a day of heavy drinking we settled in the middle on a 1992 Toyota Camry wagon.”

If you think this is going to be like every other rodded 1992 Toyota Camry wagon you’ve ever seen, prepare to have your mind blown. “We’re crossing all the boundary lines with this build,” an excited Chad Reynolds said. “I don’t want to give the whole thing away, but we’ll be mounting clear 30″ wheels on Unimog axles under this baby, swapping out the gas guzzling factory V6 with a pair of Vespa scooter engines, and we’re going to put about 18 television screens in it.”

The Donkayota Wagonmaster will be raffled off in an auction to raise money to have Reynolds’ beard trimmed as it has not seen the sharp end of a clipper in several years. Several charities have already requested that the hair not be donated to their cause as it contains so much potentially flamable material it poses a risk to anyone within 15 feet of it.

“Lohnes and I are really phsyched to get this project underway,” Reynolds beamed. “It’s time to show the world what BangShift.com is all about. It isn’t all horsepower, V8 motors, and header flames. We’re freaking visionaries. This is the wave of the future.”

(BangShift.com is currently seeking a financial backer to fund this project…please write with any offers of money or parts, especially if you are willing to donate a 1992 Toyota Camry Wagon, Unimog axles, 30″ clear wheels, Vespa engines, or up to 18 television screens.)
