Early Camaro T56 Crossmember from BMR Fabrication

Early Camaro T56 Crossmember from BMR Fabrication

BMR Fabrication is known for trick suspension for late-model stuff like Camaros and GTOs, but the company also has an extensive torque-arm suspension for ’67-’69 Camaros. As part of that, they have this stand-alone crossmember for a T56 six-speed trans swap, and it will work even without the torque link. The company says it’s for ’67-’81, which doesn’t add up, but perhaps they have two part numbers, one early and one late. It looks like it has plenty of room for big exhaust.

Here’s the official release:

Bring late-model driveline technology to your first generation F-Body with a T56 6-speed
conversion crossmember from BMR Fabrication.  Manufactured from 1.625” and 1.25”
DOM tubing and CNC laser-cut mounting plates, this product allows a bolt-in solution
for one of today’s most common conversions.  The Transmission Conversion
Crossmember (TCC005) also provides a mount for BMR’s new Torque Arm Suspension
Kit.  Available in black hammertone or red powdercoat finishes.
