There are few things more annoying than to have your car be running like a top and then all of a sudden discovering a miss and not just a miss but a miss caused by a spark plug wire that flopped over onto a hot header pipe and melted to it. You then have to either replace the single wire of buy a whole new set and live with whatever cheezy solution you have to get yourself home, miss and all. DEI has a solution to your problem and they have for a while but this is an improved version of an already great thing. The new Titanium Protect-A-Wire kit for V8s protects your plug wires at direct temps up to 1,800 degrees and radiant temps up to 2,500 degrees!
With the kit you get sleeving, shrink tube ends, and all the stuff you need to make a professional looking job on your wires. Using this kit properly means that your days of that dreaded miss from a melted wire are over and if done right those plug wires will have a longer life with the DEI Titanium shielding on them. That’s a win win and it isn’t big dollars either.
