WELD Racing Introduces New 17-Inch V-Series, Alumastar, and Full Throttle spindle mount front drag wheels
Kansas City, MO. – Meeting the needs of the drag racing community, WELD has introduced an ultra-light 17×3.5-inch version of its WELD Racing branded V-Series, Alumastar and Full Throttle spindle mount front drag wheels.
These 17×3.5-inch diameter spindle mount wheels are a fully forged one-piece design and are available in either polished or black-machined accents. These wheels are SFI-certified and weight only 8.8 pounds.
“Racers and chassis builders told us they loved the design of our V-Series, Alumastar and Full Throttle styles wheels but wanted to up-size to a 17-inch diameter while still being lightweight to maximize its use in competition,” said Chris Bovis, vice president of marketing for WELD. “With innovative engineering and design changes, our engineers were able to achieve an ultra-low weight of 8.8 pounds in the 17X3.5-inch size that makes them lighter, stronger and faster.”
