With the sorry state of the newspaper business these days we were surprised to read that the New York Times will be providing lots of coverage from the Detroit area’s Woodward Dream Cruise from a reporter who will be stationed at the event all week. We know the “event” itself is on Saturday, August 15, but the festivities and cruising have begun already.

BangShift.com also has a man on the scene in Mike “The Photo Guy” Yoksich. You’ve seen Mike’s work in places like Car Craft, Hot Rod, and generally all over the place. He’s got the knack for crazy carnage photos and action shots. This weekend, though, he’ll hopefully not see any wreckage on the streets of the greater Detroit area. Mike will be sending us a ton of photos which we’ll post in a gallery or a bunch of galleries for your viewing enjoyment. We’re stoked to be working with Mike, he’s got skills!
