The Associated Press, among other sources, is claiming that Danica Patrick is on her way to the world of NASCAR Stock Car racing. Teams are apparently scrambling the lure her in with good deals and a development program.
The certainty that most of the reports are based on is not Patrick’s. Tony Stewart was quoted as saying he had spoken to her and that she told him that NASCAR was where she wanted to be. We’re shocked she’s wanting to get away from the open wheelers…actually we’re not. She may be shocked to see more than 5,000 people in the stands at her first race.
