We have some fast friends, not the least of which is Peter Farber. Pete is dedicated Mopar guy and has had some wild race cars over the years. This however, is the topper of them all. The culmination of three years of saving, planning, and building. It went 6.40 yesterday with the ‘chutes out at 800 feet.
Peter will be running the G-Force Race Cars built Daytona Pro Mod this weekend at New England Dragway’s “Funny Cars Under the Stars” event. It’s packing a billet 521ci Hemi and a wee little blower that looks like it could suck a small child from the stands. Did we mention that he recorded three straight 60′ times in the .980-.990 range? He wouldn’t tell us the exact horsepower number but it’s a thousand times a couple plus a few.
Check out the pics below and get a feeling for why Farber is one of our favorite guys. “Normal” people don’t build junk like this!
