It took nearly 30 years, and the car has been altered slightly, but amazingly “Papa” John Schnatter has his hands back on his beloved Camaro. Our blogging bretheren over at Jalopnik played a very big role in making the reunion happen and the story is pretty cool. The nation was scoured for a car that was only 165 miles away from Schnatter. We never in a million years thought that the car would be located. We were wrong. Happily.

As an added bonus, Papa John’s pizza stores around the country will be giving a free pizza to Camaro owners today! It doesn’t matter if it is a restored beaut or a ratty mess. Cruise to the local Papa John’s and score yourself a free pie for owning a Camaro! That’s a cool move. The other cool move was the fact that Schnatter lived up to his promise and paid the owner of the car $250,000 for the honor of having it back and he also slid the dude who put the pieces together on Jalopnik a $25,000 finders’ fee.
