As dudes who cannot color within the lines, we’re fascinated by pinstriping. The art has had its share of wonderfully colorful characters. Obviously Von Dutch is among the most revered, but there are a host of others who carried the brush long after the Dutch-meister passed on.

We happened upon a cool story from the Hickory Daily Record newspaper about a local pinstriper who has been painting cars and ‘striping full time for essentially his entire adult life. We think that’s cool because fewer and fewer guys are able to actually make a full time go at painting hot rods and race cars anymore.
