KNN (The Kris News Network) alerted us to a super cool Lakester that is currently up for sale on eBay. Powered by a motorcycle engine that’s snorting nitrous, the former airplane drop tank is a study in new tech combined with WWII history.

We’re not missing the irony of a Japanese engine being placed inside a fuel tank that could have potentially been used to bomb Japan. Weird how history works, ain’t it?

Back to the task at hand. This car reportedly has a reserve of more than $30,000 and appears from the photos to be finely crafted and ready to run on the salt. It would be the hero impulse buy of the century if you decided to grab it now and head for Bonneville in a couple of weeks.
