A movie called War Birds is being pitched, and it would feature a bunch of old WWII planes. This could be totally bitchin’ if the computer graphics were held to a minimum and the planes were the featured attraction. But adding the “underground culture of illegal, real-life aerial combat” will probably make it lame.
Since we’ve not heard a news story lately about a vintage plane being shot down out of the sky during an illegal dog fight, we don’t think there is much of a vintage plane, actual dog fighting culture.
Is it “The Fast and the Furious” for the air? Lutz has old planes and is a bad ass. Maybe he can play the lead?
