1935 Chevrolet Top Chop: Bello’s Is Finally Welding It All Together! This Chop Is Some Kind Of Sexy.

1935 Chevrolet Top Chop: Bello’s Is Finally Welding It All Together! This Chop Is Some Kind Of Sexy.

The back window and sail panels really turned out awesome, and now it is time to start putting all the pieces together on this ultra sexy 1935 Chevrolet. That means lots of welding and fitting and metal finishing. There has been some serious metal shaping going on, but the techniques are ultra straight forward and fun to watch. Bello is a bad ass at this type of thing, so you’ll want to watch. This 1935 Chevrolet is going to be something special. After all, it sits down on the rockers like God intended and is now getting a new roof line to match. This is a great project and we’ll be sharing all the videos for you to be inspired like us.

You know how much we dig Michael Bello and the crew at Bello’s Kustoms and their locochon style. Locochon, or Lokochon Style as they put it at Bellos means crazy or wild and that is how they think all their rides should be at some level. Even if you only go lokochon on some part of a ride, like the suspension or chop, it still fits the lokochon style and that’s awesome. In this case they are bringing some lokochon style to a 1935 Chevrolet 5 window coupe that already has some style but needs some tweaks to get right with the world and ready for a serious Bellos Kustoms style chop.

In the first video you saw the front end get fixed up, the grill shell and hood put where they should be, and the top get cleaned up and ready for some cutting. It’s time to get the cutting started!

I’ve never owned a 30’s or 40’s ride but every time I see them chop one I want one bad. I guess I’ll have to add it to the list of projects I want but don’t actually need. LOL
