This Duramax-Powered Chevy Mega Truck Cuts Loose On A Motocross Track!

We’ve been featuring Mega Trucks here for a while now, and to be rather honest…there is something about them that has kind of bothered me. It’s not the lift, not the skinny tires, or anything like that. It’s that most of these builds seem to be massive, lumbering beasts that look ready to roll over faster than a Suzuki Samurai with a Consumer Reports driver who thinks they are the ultimate driving machine behind the wheel. This Duramax-powered Chevrolet, a build completed by PELA Motorsports known as “Next Level”, isn’t any of those things. For starters, it doesn’t lumber. That 6.6L mill sounds more than a little bit healthy and the turbocharger whistles wherever it goes. And it doesn’t really smoke all that much, something we’re glad to see. But when the boost comes on, this thing moves out and takes the jumps on the motocross track at Florida Tracks and Trails with aplomb. It’s no desert pre-runner, but compared to other Megas we’ve seen, we’d be up for a ride-along!

Well…maybe we should let Brian go first, just in case. He does love big trucks…
