Gremlin X Revival: Will This ABANDONED AMC Run & Drive Home After 36 YEARS!?

Gremlin X Revival: Will This ABANDONED AMC Run & Drive Home After 36 YEARS!?

I know that AMC muscle cars and street machines aren’t the most popular, but some of them are pretty cool still. I’m a fan of the Gremlins and Hornets in particular, but there are also AMX, Javelin, and more. In this new video from Junkyard Digs he’s going to try to give a Gremlin a new life, but not just any Gremlin because this one is a Gremlin X. What the hell is a Gremlin X you ask?

The Gremlin X was an appearance package. It was not a performance package, and therefore could be had with different engine offerings. The X package included a vinyl stripe down the side that looked like a hockey stick in 1974, along with X badging, blackout grill, body color fascias, and slot mags in the early years. They looked cool, they are fun because they are a Gremlin, and people love them when they see them.

In this video, the 1974 Gremlin X in question has been sitting in the barn for 36 years and they are going to see if they can get it running and driving so they can actually drive it home. What could possibly go wrong?
