The 1960 Cadillac Coupe De Ville is coming along with more and more progress. We’ve already seen lots of work going into the chassis with hydraulics, as well as lots of sheet metal work going together to finish the body drop, or channeling if you prefer, and there is still a lot to do but man is it coming along nicely. Karl has been working on this one, which is his wife’s car, along with his own projects and it’s cool to see several cars going together at the same time. It is inspiring for those of us that have way too many projects and feel like we’ll never get anything done on them.
In this episode you are going to see Karl make some serious headway in repairing the front fenders on the caddy and because they are huge they have a lot of inner structure going on and most of that is junk at the bottoms. In order to fix the rust in the part of the panel you do see, you first have to fix the parts that you can’t see, and that’s what is covered in this episode of the build.
