Metal Fabrication Video: Here’s Part 2 Of Bellos Kustoms Top Chop On A 1950 Merc. Watch The Step By Step Process.

We love the projects that Mike Bellos works on, and this one here is no different. This is a multi part series on chopping the top of this cool 1950 Mercury. We’ve got Part 2 below, and if you missed Part 1 we’ve got a link for that as well. Take a look and let us know what you think. Does this inspire you to chop a top like it does me? Check it all out below.

Mike Bellos is back at it, cutting up great old cars to make them totally locochón. If you aren’t familiar with what locochón means, it is a slang Mexican colloquial term for crazy or insane and it’s appropriate for the ultra sick rides he builds each and every week. In this new video series he is taking a bagged and laid out 1950 Merc, already a cool car in its own right, and taking it to a whole new level by chopping three inches out of the top.

A chopped Merc is one of the most iconic customs on the planet, and this one is going to be no different. Check it out and let us know what you think.
