This 1961 Valiant Gasser Project Is Quite Literally A Fire Sale And Needs A New Home

Sometimes life kicks you when you’re down and you have to do whatever is needed to get back on your feet. Unfortunately, the owner of this 1961 Plymouth Valiant has found himself in that position after a house fire and has decided to sell the car to raise funds. It’s pretty obvious that a lot of work has gone into the build, even though it’s still a bit of a ways out from being done.

Man that is a sick project for someone with the moolah and skill to finish it. I had a 4 door 61′ Valiant in high school. It was so ugly that it was pretty. The slant six ran like a top, but it couldn’t spin a wheel if it tried. Man I miss that car. I hope someone buys this and finishes it right.

That looks like a good candidate for an Art Morrison chassis, the chassis on that Valiant would never pass tech at any dragstrip, unless the officials were blind.

I’m going to set my house on fire and use the insurance money to buy this car!
