If you don’t watch the Mortske Repair channel on YouTube with any regularity, you might have missed his recent video where he got arrested for possession of stolen property. That alleged stolen property was a square body Chevy pickup that he bought at a CoPart auction in Oklahoma that he bought fair and square. So how the hell did he end up getting arrested while driving it home? I mean these are serious charges, a Class 5 Felony in fact. Watch the video below for the whole story, and to maybe learn a few things to watch out for when you are buying cars and trucks online. I know that I have bought and sold cars and trucks online on multiple occasions and usually consider the big companies a safer way to buy.
But maybe it doesn’t matter the size, but rather that you make sure you have the right documentation. Maybe we can all learn from the trouble Mortske ran into, by no fault of his own.
