On this episode we travel back to Big Spring, Texas for the last time. My friend Dickie Jones had a passion for building hot rods, mainly 57 Chevys and 40 Fords. I bought my 57 hardtop from him in April 2021. I got it back on the road after it had been sitting since the 70s. Shortly after that he was tragically killed by a drunk driver while driving his 1962 Pontiac Catalina. His wife Linda invited me back out to save a few more tri-fives before listing the property for sale. I made a couple of trips back out and loaded up what I could. This was the last trip out and we bought the last remaining buildable 57 for my son.
