We’ve been slacking on our Rebeldryver’s Garage video sharing lately and have got a few to show you so we can get caught up. I don’t know how we missed a couple of these, but we’re here now! In this video below, Scott is taking his 1976 El Camino project and giving it some love and sex appeal. Okay, maybe not sex appeal but it is going to get a nose job that even a Kardashian would be proud of. If you aren’t familiear with the Laguna front ends that were available on 1975 and 1976 Chevelles, these things are sloped and slick and absolutely NASCAR team approved. But they also just look cool.
So when Scott found a complete Laguna nose, in the same color and close patina to his 1976 El Camino daily driver project, he knew he had to get it. Here’s the video. Check it out and let us know if you like the new nose or the old one better. We dig it!

My 1976 Chevy El Camino Classic has become my daily driver over the last year. While it has been super reliable, there are some annoying things that prevent it from being an enjoyable car to drive. The dash rattles, the sun visors and rear view mirror flop around, the speedometer doesn’t work, and the temperature control cable is broke. In this video I fix all of that, plus I replace the broken, redneck repair tail lights and finally give the El Camino a face lift. I replaced the nose section with one from a Laguna S3. A big thanks to Chris from No Nonsense Know How channel that sold me a lot of the parts to make these repairs. Check out his channel!
