Racing high performance mud trucks ain’t easy. The task gets even harder when the dude who designed the mud pit apparently wanted to kill as many of the competitors as possible due to the “interesting” shut down area. This driver faces a scenario no drag racer, however junky the strip, will ever see. After completing a hairy, mud flinging, lap, the driver lands on the binders only to find that the “racing lane” stops about 50 feet after the track and that he’s about to do a Paul Bunyan impression. The Jeep careens into the woods and ultimately ends up in a pond!
Before you go too nuts on the guy who designed or laid out the track, let’s consider the fact that the driver made the conscious decision to strap into the Jeep and head down the course. Racers certainly bear some of the responsibility when weirdo stuff like this happens as no one was holding a gun to their head, forcing them to make a decision whether or not to drive their machine down the course. We’re not blaming the guy for the bizarre course of the predictable ending to taking a super powerful truck down it, just stating the fact that this is a two way street. If the place was junk, he could have skipped running it. Thankfully for comedic purposes, he didn’t.
When the cameras made it to him with his front wheels in the water, all the driver wanted to know was what it ran. Classic.

“Howed you get between them trees?”
hillybilly is one thing but who laid out that track is a total idiot
Talk all of the shit you want, over 20 years and no issues with the pit.
Also, you caution people not to “go nuts” on the guy who designed it, yet you start out with slanderous comments of “apparently wants to kill”. Come on, have a little class.
You are slanderous. How about a law suit. Could happen
