If it seems like the last few RacingJunk.com finds we’ve made have been wagons it’s because they have been. We’re not seeking wagons only, it’s just that we keep finding these awesome longroofs and when we see ’em we have to share ’em. This 1969 Buick Sport Wagon, with 430 power and slot mags had us at hello.

With the ability to seat nine people, torque to spare from the 430ci motor, a roof rack, and a two way tailgate, we’re not sure what else a devoted wagon freak could want. A four-speed maybe, but it would be impossible to beat the TH350 already in the car for effortless cruising with an entire baseball team sitting behind you.

The slot mags are cool, although ditching them would be one of the only changes we’d make to this car. Some widened steel wheels would be the direction we’d go. We could live with the slots but the steelies would be total coolness. Of course, the neatest part of the car is the fact that it has the glass panels in the roof just like the Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser.

The price isn’t nuts and this thing will never go out of style in our world.
