We may have found one of the most limited-production station wagons of all time with this RacingJunk.com find. It is a 1963 Chrysler New Yorker Wagon and, depending on whether or not it seats six or nine passengers, there were either 950 or 1,250 produced. The best part? It’s all original, right down to the hottie of a 413 it left the plant with.
According to the seller there has been lots of recent body work done and the car is in primer waiting for paint. A push button transmission, fresh brakes and the like, even oddly routed dual exhaust, make this a great wagon. The selling price of $7,500 doesn’t seem too bad for such a rare piece.
About that motor. This car, if equipped with the original mill as claimed, is packing a 10:1 compression, single four barrel 413 that made 340 hp. That 340 hp could become 400 in a hurry with the addition of dual quads and a touch more cam. Then you’d really be off to the races in style!
We’d want to tow a Hemi powered digger behind ours. How ’bout you?

Sure, it’s rare . . . but pricing on older cars is
much more established by DEMAND, NOT
SUPPLY. Thus, since demand for a cool 60s
4-dr hrdtp wagon is mightly low, it’s going to be
mighty hard to get more than 4 or 5 grand for it,
IMO. Right now, there’s one near me for only
three grand . . . and seems just as good.
