Registration For The 2015 Gran Turismo Awards Is Open For SEMA Vehicles! Get In Now!

Registration for the 13th annual Gran Turismo at SEMA is now open and if you’d like to have your SEMA vehicle judged you need to get your name on the list. In order to do that, click on the digitized image of the Trans-Cammer Mustang (a past winner that is headed for GT immortality) and fill out the registration form. There is no cost associated with it and if your project is chosen by GT creator Kazunori Yamauchi as best in show it will be put in an upcoming version of the Gran Turismo video game. This is big time stuff and you have a short window to get registered. No registrations will be accepted after 11/1/2015 so you need to get this done now.

How does the whole thing work? It is pretty simple. There are five classes for cars to be put in. Those classes are Hot Rod, SUV, European, Domestic, and Asian. There are judges for each of those five categories (Lohnes was tapped to be the judge of the Hot Rod category this year) and those judges choose their “class winner” from those five cars Kazunori Yamauchi choses the best in show award winner and that car is put into the video game.

In fine SEMA style the winners of the classes and the best in show winner are announced at a huge bash on Wednesday night that is held at the Marquee Night Club that’s inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel. We’ll be there and so should you. If you have a car in the show that is being displayed, you NEED to get yourself registered today. This is a shot to have your car immortalized in the greatest driving video game series EVER. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the 2015 Gran Turismo awards!
